This monster drops Crimson charms extremely often as compared to other charms.

These creatures do not use melee, instead they use both magic and ranged attacks. However, their ranged attack is far more dangerous than their magic attack. It is suggested to wear high magic defence armour such as Karil's or dragonhide while using protect from range prayer. Waterfiends are resistant to poison and slash attacks. Crush weapons are highly recommended. Although there are Waterfiends in the Chaos Tunnels, the multicombat environment combined with their multiple attack types make this an extremely dangerous option.
