I am very pleased that on the last day of the year, we are able to introduce a new Player-owned Ports calculator. With this new calculator you will be able to plan your ship voyages with the best chance of success. It will take a few minutes to properly set-up, as you will need to enter the data of all your Captains, Crew members and the various upgrades you probably already bought. Once that is done, you can simply enter the required Morale, Combat and Seafaring targets for a voyage and the calculator will show you which Captain, Crew and upgrades to select.

If you haven't already used up your Fate cards, that were a reward for being a member throughout August and September 2012, then now would be a good time to do so. The Fate cards, and the items that you can get from them will expire after December 31st. There's only a few days left to choose your fate so to speak...

Fate cards can be used to get one or more of the following items:

• Deathtouched dart
• Emergency healing box
• Portable deposit box
• Soul phylactery

The Mad necklace will also expire after December 31st. Don't be too late!
