| Have your normal pet cat chase vermin (hell rats) in the basement of Evil Dave's house in Edgeville after talking to Evil Dave during or after the Recipe for Disaster Quest - Evil Dave sub-quest. The cat will need to catch about 7 hell rats to turn into a Hell Cat. About four hours with the cat out of the bank or inventory will turn it into an Overgrown Hell Cat. |

| Walk around with it and look cool. If you've done the Biohazard Quest, you can sell your cat to a civilian in West Ardougne for 100 death runes (200 death runes following completion of any part of the Ardougne Tasks). |
Change it back to a normal overgrown cat by feeding it milk. Beware - you cannot change it back again because an overgrown cat will not chase rats! You are allowed to get a new pet kitten while owning an overgrown cat, but can only have one out at a time.
Cannot be taken into most Minigames and some areas (see guide). |
