Examine A natural fungicide.
Location Created by squeezing Neem drupes into an empty jug, or into a jug with Neem oil. This requires a Pestle and mortar.
Each jug of neem oil can only store up to 2,000 doses.
Made by Squeezing Neem drupe - requires level 3 Herblore.
Used in
Uses When sprinkled onto creatures in the Polypore Dungeon, it results in the following effects:

  • The affected creature will temporarily be unable to use its toxic fungus attack.
  • The affected creature will temporarily suffer a reduction in attack speed.
  • The affected creature will temporarily be unable to move.
  • The affected creature will drop some random items.
  • The affected creature will hiss "Ssss" when neem oil is used on it.
Notes If you have a jug of Neem oil and a Mortar and pestle in your inventory, any Neem drupe you pick up from the floor will be added to the jar automatically. You can check how many doses of Neem oil are in your jug by selecting the Check option.

You may store one jug of Neem oil with the Merchant at the dungeon's entrance.

Sprinkling creatures with Neem oil grants you 6.3 Herblore XP each time you do so. Creatures sprinkled with the oil will also drop some of the following items:


Note that you will be unable to obtain flakes related to the monsters you do not have the Slayer level to kill.
